China coach pleased with adjustments in win over Canada

Post match press conference at Osaka Municipal Central Gym

Osaka, Japan, October 30, 2010 - FIVB World Championship Press Conference China v Canada:

China coach Yu Juemin: I am more happy about our capability to adjust after the loss yesterday (to Turkey) than I am the result today. We had to fight against their height with our speed and it worked.

China captain Wei Qiuyue: Everything went smoothly technically and mentally tonight. We want to improve our skills and win tomorrow versus Korea.

China player Wang Yimei: The loss yesterday was sad for us. Today we came together as one.

Canada coach Arnd Ludwig: My team played better today. We focused on our blocking and transition game, which were not good yesterday.

Canada captain Tammy Louise Mahon: They prepared well to play us. It was a step up for us to play against them.

Canada player Tiffany Dodds: Our main goal was to improve on what we didn't do well against Korea. I think our blocking was better today.
