Korea coach Sam-Ryong Park: Both teams put on a good show today. Taking the first set was the key for us to win the match.
Korea captain Sa-Nee Kim: I'm happy with our performance. Our preparations took full effect. Yeon-Koung had the spirit to lead the team to victory.
Korea player Yeon-Koung Kim: Even though it was a three-set match, it was tough. Winning the first set gave us momentum. We are fortunate to have a good group of players, but we still must improve.
Dominican coach Marcos Kwiek: There is not much to say after this match. We made a lot of mistakes and played poorly. We have to look ahead at the next three matches.
Dominican captain Milagros Cruz: It was a difficult match for us. We couldn't bring ourselves up to speed. We hope to do better tomorrow.
