Thai delight after team effort pays off

L_R: Thailand's Head Coach Kittiapong Radchatagrienkai, Captain Wilavan Apinyapong and Onuma Sittirak at the post game press conference
Thailand coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai
Today, I would like to congratulate our players. They played very good and they showed their technique at its best. Our success was achieved by team unity, their willingness to improve, the game plan and work of our staff and concentrating point by point. All the staff and players have good communication and try to improve. We were better today than yesterday – not perfect, so we will try and solve our remaining problems.

Thailand captain Wilavan Apinyapong
Today, we're very happy with the win. We tried hard to get our technique right and follow our game plan. We made some mistakes but we'll try to be better in the next game.
(Re. Performance of setter Tomkom): She played good and I'm happy with her ability. She gives all the players great balls and also help in passing and defense. We try to help her with defense and blocking so she can deliver good passes to our players.

Thailand No. 6 Onuma Sittirak: (Re. Setter Tomkom): We really happy with the way she plays. Her standard of play is really high and she has great technique. She moves the ball really fast and makes it easier to hit. It's great to have such a high level player on the team.

Kazakhstan coach Nelli Chsherbakova:
We are short of two of our best players and that has affected the confidence of the players, which in turn leads to results such as this. It was the worst thing that could have happened to the team and it's stopped us from being at our best.

Kazakhstan captain Inna Matveyeva:
Before leaving Kazakhstan we had to leave two of our best players behind because of injury, so we had to change things around in our first two games and you can see the result.
