Foluke Akinradewo picked up the MVP and best blocker awards at the 2010 FIVB World Grand Prix in June |
Colorado, USA, September 6, 2010 – 2010 FIVB World Grand Prix MVP and gold medalist Foluke Akinradewo has been nominated for the United States Sports Academy’s Female Athlete of the Month.
Akinradewo, who was also named best blocker at the tournament, helped take her team to their third World Grand Prix title, and is likely to be one of the key players for the squad when they travel to Japan for the 2010 FIVB World Championship.
