Poles failed to meet goals, says Gajgal

Turkey's Aydemir Naz was not happy with her side's performance saying "we couldn't stop the simple mistakes".

Poland coach Jerzy Matlak:
"It's very rare that both sides are satisfied with the match. In Turkey's case, they are happy to be playing in the 5-8 final round. We had some momentum in the match but at one point I thought we might be going home tomorrow. We will be playing in the 9-12 round, but we only missed playing for a higher rank by three or four points."

Poland player Katarzyna Gajgal:
"Obviously, the most important point is that we won, so we are happy we will advance to the final round. It won't be for the places that we dreamed of, but we will try as hard as possible to get as high as possible a finish.
(On Poland’s overall performance) "It's too early to assess the tournament from today's perspective. To be classified in places 9-12 is not good enough for us. We dreamed of a higher rank. The only thing we can be happy about is that we got into the final round of the tournament and can win extra points to boost our ranking."

Turkey coach Mehmet Bedestenlioglu:
"It was a difficult game today, especially beforehand when we were counting points and our position. We're happy to be playing for 5th to 8th ranking. It's our second time in the World Championship and I'm glad we are doing better than last time. I want to congratulate my players. They did very well on court today."

Turkey player Aydemir Naz:
"It was not a good game for my team. We couldn't stop the simple mistakes – for example, in our serving and at important points of the game."
