France happy with final outcome

France were all over the Mikasa as they won in four sets over Spain to finish 11th in the FIVB Men's World Championship

Spain captain Julian Garcia-Torres: "This match was difficult for the two teams. France defended very well and unfortunately we could take control only in the third set."

France captain Oliver Kieffer: "We are happy because we won against a very good team. We had a lot of problems in this tournament, but we are happy about the final result tonight."

Spain coach Julio Velasco: "We didn’t play a good match. We were not good enough in attack. It was not just France's good defense, but it was our lack of concentration and creativity that brought us to this point. Yesterday it happened the same, so I’m not happy. At least I thought we could win one of those two matches."

France coach Philippe Blain: "For us it was an important victory. We expected a difficult match because Spain had played very well up to now. I asked to the players to play well and to keep focused and I’m satisfied of the result."
