Serbia's Kolakovic 'happiest man alive'

Serbia celebrates match point that delivered them a ticket to the FIVB World Championship semifinals to be played in Rome October 9-10.

Sergey Makarov, Russia Captain: "We didn’t play well, we are out of the World Championship (podium)."

Nikola Grbic, Serbia Captain: "I think we played very well tonight. Congratulations to my players that played with their heart. I’m a proud person and, if you want to win a gold medal you have to win everything. I consider Russia a very good team and I was surprised when they lost again Spain."

Daniele Bagnoli, Russia Coach: "Congratulations to Serbia. In this game we couldn’t play well because some players had physical problems. We made too many faults, and this is why we are out of the semifinals. Anyway the World Championship is not over and we need to play well now."

Igor Kolakovic, Serbia Coach: "I was the happiest man alive when we won tonight. In the first moment when Russia lost against Spain I thought there was something strange underneath their result but the important thing for us is that we qualified for the semifinals. The World Championship is a great championship and I’m proud to be here."
