Verona, Italy, September 27, 2010 - Spain v Tunisia press conference.
Tunisia captain, Mohamed Ben Slimen: “Today we played better than yesterday. The best thing was that this tournament in Verona was a very good experience for us because we had the opportunity to play against the best teams like Cuba and Brazil.”
Spain captain, Juliàn Garcia Torres: “Spain played a little worse than yesterday and Tunisia were without any fear against us and they played the best match of these three days. It was important to win this match in order to continue our path in the Men’s Volleyball World Championship.”
Tunisia coach, Mkaouar Fethi: "We had a lot of chances to win against Spain. We played better than yesterday against Brazil and better than against Cuba. Spain aren’t an easy team because because they lost 3-2 against Cuba, so this match was very hard for us.”
Spain coach, Julio Velasco: “It was a different match from the one against Cuba and Brazil but Tunisia played very well, particularly in the attack, while we lacked in defense. The first set was remarkable because they put us on the spot. According to us it represented a step to improve because we are facing stronger teams. Tonight I didn’t notice any improvements in my team. The stress could have been a big problem, I talked to my players before and during the match about this. It does not mean you're weak, if you feel the pressure: you need to learn to keep the control in events like these.”
