"We are gaining more and more experiences," says Rwanda coach

Rwanda's captain Aimable Mutuyimana speaks after Pool C match in the mixed zone

Serbia coach Sinisa Reljic:

“It wasn’t such an interestin
g game. We knew it, we are the first and Rwanda is the last in the group. I gave the chance to all players in the game. It was only one good game among the other games. We should go step by step. We wanted to be the first in our group and we achieved. Next step is the fourth of Pool D, maybe Italy. We have two days to prepare and we know everything about Italy. Step by step, we will do our best to get the gold medal.”

Serbia team captain Uros Kovacevic:

“We prepare ourselves for Italy. Rwanda is a good team but we are better and we are in the first place in our pool. I think about the next matches, Italy and so on.”

Rwanda coach Paul Bitok:

“I think today both teams were more relaxed. Serbia qualified for the next round and coming this much is already good experience for us. Nevertheless the game was quite okay for us. We are proving that we can play against big teams like Serbia. We are gaining more and more experiences, in every game. We want this improvement to help us for the next match. From now on we will focus to win at least 1 or 2 games before we go back to Rwanda.”

Rwanda captain Aimable Mutuyimana:

“Today’s game was not so bad. We tried to put ourselves, to do our best. We tried to improve our system in reception. We are improving ourselves in every game.”
