FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship

Press release

My team had the possibility to finish in the top eight, says Bulgaria coach

For the match there is no story, the win was very easy, said Bulgaria coach Dimo Tonev.

Brno, Czech Republic, June 30, 2013 – In today’s last match at Brno’s Vodova hall, it was Bulgaria who emerged victorious versus Chinese Taipei in straight-sets (25-22, 25-13, 25-20). We reached our goal to finish on the 9th place, said Bulgaria captain Simona Dimitrova.

Bulgaria coach Dimo Tonev: For the match there is no story, the win was very easy. However, as for the overall tournament, my team had the possibility to finish in the top eight. That is reality. I am satisfied with the matches here.

Bulgaria captain Simona Dimitrova: We are very happy. The last match was very easy for us and we reached our goal to finish on the 9th place.

Chinese Taipei coach Jen-Chung Lo: This match was not good for us at all; we lost because we committed many mistakes. We have to work on it for the future.

Chinese Taipei captain Wei-Hua Wu: We did many mistakes and lost. It was a long tournament.
