The 2013 FIVB Boys’ Under 19 World Championship, hosted by the Mexican cities of Tijuana and Mexicali, will take place from June 27 to July 7. This year’s championship will see an expanded entry of 20 teams, four more than in previous editions.
To cater for the additional teams there are now four qualification slots for the AVC, three for CAVB, three for NORCECA, three for CSV and six for CEV. The vacancy for the host country will be taken from the continental quota.
Held every two years, Serbia took the
top spot at the 2011 Championship – hosted by Argentina –after beating
