"We came for a medal, But happy with the seventh," says Poland coach


Poland´s team manager Piotr Krol, captain Paulina Baldyga and coach Grzegorz Kosatka show that Poland finished 7th

Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, August 4, 2013  – Poland beat Dominican Republic 3-1 set (25-11,19-25,25-16,25-14). they  finished the tournament in the 7th and 8th positions respectively at the Girls’ U18 World Championships in Thailand.

“I’m very happy with the tournament in Thailand that we got 7th of the world. Today, our team played really well  and my players could stand to make it good in block and defences. We are very happy with our player that they improved and played better than yesterday .Next tournament  we hope we will come back to Thailand, is nice country thank you for Thailand and our team and we will try our best for our  team and Poll.”

“I’m very happy that we finished 7th of the tournament  although our goal was to get a medal in final the round  but I think we are all happy with result today .thank you for warm welcome from Thailand and People are very nice.”

“Today, Poland played very well. They concentrated on the game, and their teamwork was very well. Although we lost in this match we still happy because we got 8th in World Championship, and I am very happy with Thailand, the nice country. People here are very nice and friendly”

 “We played hard in the beginning of the game, but in the second set of the game we had enough attention so make it and win the second set. Afterwards we can’t control the game. This is a reason why we lost today. And I think our team is satisfied that we able to get 8th of the tournament .Thank you”
