Italians are much stronger than us with exceptional tactics, says Taipei's head coach

Journalists interview Chinese Taipei's head coach Lo Chung-Jen and team captain Chen Yueh Ting at the Mixed Zone.

Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, July 30, 2013 - Chinese Taipei's head coach Lo Chung-Jen admitted that the Italians are very strong with good tactics. Following are quotes from head coaches and team captains of Italy and Chinese Taipei.

Luca Pieragnoli, head coach of Italy: “I think this is an easy match for us. My players did a good job. We are much stronger than our rivals. Tough matches can be in our next rounds when we have to take on strong teams. We will try to do our best. However, we have to analize our performance one at a time.”

Ofelia Malinov, team captain of Italy: “We played well in this match. Chinese Taipei are much smaller than us and they find it difficult to block high attacking from my side. I’m happy that we won although both of us have already secured our places in the next round.”

Lo Chung-Jen, head coach of Chinese Taipei: “The Italians are very strong with exceptional tactics. However, we have already advanced to the second round. We played a relaxed game against Italy. We are now the fourth place in Pool D and next have to take the third place of Pool C. It must be tough match out there. We will try our best.”

Chen Yueh Ting, team captain of Chinese Taipei: “Actually, we have already made it to the last 16 teams, we then played a relaxed game. I think our form did not live up to the coach’s expectation, but we will try to come up with better form in our next match.”
