We play a relaxed game, says Taipei's head coach Lo Chung-Jen

Chinese Taipei's head coach Lo Chung-Jen and team captain Chen Yueh Ting hand-signal 3-0 during a press interview.

Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, July 29, 2013 – Chinese Taipei played a relaxed game against Mexico which they won in straight sets. Following are quotes from head coaches and team players of Chinese Taipei and Mexico.

Lo Chung-Jen, head coach of Chinese Taipei: “After two days of playing the tall players, we get familiar with the similar situation. We are more relaxed. We could overcome our weakness and poor tactics we had in the previous matches. We next go up against Italy, which are one of the world’s top teams to be reckoned with, but we will try to do our best. It must be a tough fight out there. We have to be well-prepared for it.”

Chen Yueh Ting, team captain of Chinese Taipei:” “We are more relaxed compared with the previous game. We then performed our best. I hope we can play better in the next matches.”

Matias Estanislao, head coach of Mexico: “We did not play well. I’m sad and disappointed with the team’s performance. We have to next play Turkey and see what will happen.”

Kimberly Gutierrez, libero of Mexico: "We lost today and coach was also disappointed that we could not make use of our height advantage to beat Chinese Taipei. In our next match, we play Turkey. It will be a very tough match for us. We will try to do our best.
