Team profile

Russia’s women’s junior team were first established in 2007 and since then they have won silver at the 2009 Youth Olympic Festival in Tampere, Finland as well as recording a ninth place finish at the 2009 Youth European Championship and seventh place finish at the 2010 Junior European Championship.
 

Coach profile

As a player Vadim Kiryanov played for many years in the Russian Superleague.

Since 1990 he has been performing as a coach and he has been coach of the Russian women’s junior team since 2001.
