Team profile
Cuba has participated in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Junior World Championships. The team has always been highly competitive and has won on two occasions, in 1985 and 1993.

This year the team has a considerable group of young players with little competitive experience, however, they have passion at the level of some of the best teams in the world, which leads the country to believe that they have a promising future ahead of them.

Only two players have performed at these championships for the before while many have played for the senior team in numerous other tournaments.
Coach profile

He has been responsible for the team preparation for World Championships since two years now. However, he has over 15 years of experience as coach both in and out the country, as he has attended an important number of international competitions in many places of the world.

He is a graduate in Physical Culture and has a quite knowledgeable staff committed to take his team to the top.
