Team profile

The Belgian Juniors Women Team is a very successful Team in Belgium now.

They played the following tournaments:

 

Results 2008:

8-Nations Tournament Toledo Spain: 2de place

Results 2009:

E.C. Youth Rotterdam: 1ste place - GOLD

W.C. Youth Thailand: 3de place - BRONZE

EYOF  Finland: 3de place - BRONZE

8-Nations Tournament Sweden: 1ste place - GOLD

Results 2010:

First Youth World Olympic Games Singapore: 1ste place - GOLD

Most of these players have trained at the Topsportschool Volleyball in Vilvoorde

 

Meanwhile a number of players are playing in the highest level in Belgium.

This team aims another good result at the World Cup in Peru

The major objective is to push them for excellent results in the senior national women’s team.
Coach profile
Julien Van de Vyver played for VC Bazel from 1973 to 1987 but it wasn’t until he became a coach that he shone. Since then he has been involved with club teams VC Lennik, PNV Waasland, Hemiksem, Everbeur, VC Zonhoven, Asterix Kieldrecht.

He has also coached the Belgium junior men’s team, girls’ youth team and been assistant coach for the senior men’s team.
