Bulgaria coach: “I respect that fighting team,"

Taipei captain speaking during the press conference

Bulgaria head coach Stoyan Gunchev
“It was a surprise game for us. My players could not control the fast game of Taipei. But at the end we obtained the triumph.  Now we will begin to evaluate the strategy for tomorrow facing Netherlands. My team needs to improve the service and the block to in order to have better options to the victory. I have to say that I respect that fighting team”
Bulgaria captain Tsvetelina Nikolova
“Taipei played a great game and their fast and defensive style, create much confusion to us at different moments of the match. We could fit the block that create second offensive options to us. This option helped us in the last set”
Chinese Taipei head coach Norimasa Sakakuchi
“It was a strong and exciting match that made both teams very tired at the end. We tried to obtain the triumph but we could not end as we started because the players did a lot of effort in the first three sets. It was very exhausting to play five strong sets and we did not leave frustrated.. I hope my team will continue fighting in the following matches”.
Chinese Taipei captain Wan Ting Chen
“My team played very well, we committed some faults in the game that create problems to us at the end. We will work tomorrow to minimize the errors and battle to win again”.
