Venezuela coach: "We will fight in Tijuana to get the best position"

Press conference Venezuela vs. Thailand
Venezuela Head coach Sergio Rivero
“I’m Happy that my players performed well today. This is the first time that my team faces an Asian team and fortunately we beat them. We could decipher the fast game in defense and attacks. I am happy with the result and we will continue fighting in next round in Tijuana to get the best position in the ranking of 9-16”.
Venezuela captain Daymari Brito Medina
“My team played more relax today. I’m Happy to have the first victory here although I was hoping to compete for top eight positions here, but this is the sport. Congratulation to Thailand for their good level and their fighting in all the pool matches”.
Thailand head coach Nipon Jamjang
“We had many problems in our game today that affected mainly the injury of three of my team including the main setter and we were not able to use them. I hope that we can play better in the second round when our injured players retain their physical fitness”.
Thailand captain Siripom Ketsanoi
“Today we played well.  I understand that we fought all through the game. We face good team and we fought to win our first game here. Now in the next round we will continue fighting for each match”
