Brazil players celebrates the second victory
Mexicali, Mexico, July 17, 2009- The inform Brazil team downs Kenya 3-0 (25-2, 25-10, 25-8) in pool C match held here at Auditorio del Estado Ciudad Deportiva hall in Mexicali, Mexico on Friday.
 Brazil went into a streak of 8 direct points to lead 8-0 at the FTT due to the poor reception of the Kenyan team and also the efficient finishing of the attacks and Kenya waited till 12-0 after to score the first point through a service mistake from Brazil team.
 It was almost the same picture till the end of the set except when the Kenyan team scored the only real point through a spike from Evelyne Makuto at 22-1 and then Brazil went easily to the biggest point deficit in the competition 25-2. Brazil stars Leticia, Isadora and Glauciele scored 7 points each in the first set.
 Brazil head coach Rizola changed completely his line up in the second set and in the same time Kenya’s reception slightly improved getting benefit from the weaker Brazil service in absence of the main players. The African team succeeded to reach the draw for the first time in the match 3-3 after some spikes from the captain Makuto. Kenya reached to the best point margin at 9-7. Brazil coach returned some main players to widen the score gradually till they won the set 25-10.
 The third set showed on side play for the Brazilian team although the Kenyan struggled for some toime to score more points but the South Americans end the set 25- and the match in straight sets
