Press Conference #48: Brazil versus Cuba

Brazil setter Murilo Radke sets againsts Cuba

Cuba Head Coach Juan Gala Rodroguez:
“My congratulations to Brazil. They played well and were not as good today.”

Cuba Captain Leandro Macias Infante:
“Brazil played higher today and we did not play as well.”

Brazil Head Coach Percy Oncken:
“At first, I would like to start by congratulating Cuba and good luck to them in the semifinals. We managed to play well tactically today. We served better, which created difficulties for Cuba. Now we will have to be ready for the most difficult matches of the tournament. Also, I would like to congratulate the teams from the Americas for having three teams in the semifinals (Brazil, Cuba and Argentina). We only had two teams from South America in this tournament, so maybe we will have the opportunity to have more with our success.”

Brazil Captain Murilo Radke:
“I would like to congratulate Cuba on being one of the four best teams here. We did better in defense today. We had better blocking, not necessarily with blocks but touching nearly every attack.”
