"We worked for the victroy physically and mentally," Says Germany coach

Germany players celebrate

HAN ABBING, GERMANY COACH
Thank you. We are very happy. And the game was very tight. We had to do our best on the first set, and in the second it was all about working hard physically and mentally. It really helped us so much and made the third set easier to achieve such a great victory.
It was easier for me and for the girls who now are enjoying this moment, after 8 games we played here,

SARAH PETRAUSCH (GERMANY’S CAPTAIN)
We finally are world champions, the dream has become true. It was a great match based on the concentration we kept on this match.
It was not easy, because it is the last match, and on the last match you have to play with all the power you have, because if you don’t it may turn so complicated.

WAGNER PACHECO, DOM. REPUBLIC COACH
I want to congratulate Germany, because they played really good.
We worked so hard to be here and to reach the finals.
It was a very difficult match. Not much to say about it, Now It’s over and We are done.

NIVERKA MARTE (DOMINICAN REPUBLIC CAPTAIN)
I have nothing to say. Congratulations to Germany. They really deserve it because they played better.
For me it Was a good experience because this is the first time We won a medal. We wanted to win the gold. We couldn’t but We this medal is too valuable for us, because We worked hard for it.
