Tijuana, Mexico, July 25, 2009 – The Czech Republic trounced USA 25-13, 25-13, 25-16 taking the eleventh position of the tournament.
Tereza Vanzurova and Ivona Svobodnikova led the winners with 17 and 11 points. The Czechs dominated the serves category 8-2.
The spikes of powerful Vanzurova combined with those by Svobodnikova to give Czech Republic leads of 8-5 and 16-6 at the stops. The Czechs completely dominated and ended winning the first set by score of 25-13.
The second set was a carbon-copy of the previous one. Kvapilova joined forces with Vanzurova and Svobodnikova while USA helped with a pile of errors. The Czechs were in front 8-2 and 16-6 at the breaks and ended up winning 25-13 with another unforced American error.
The third set took the same path as the Czechs dominated 8-0 and 16-9 at the technical time-out. They finally won 25-16 with a tip by Stankova.
