Coach - Cai Bin |
Cai Bin has a fine tradition in Chinese coaching circles.
The 37-year-old has won the Best Coach award of the national
league four successive times after his team – Shanghai
Women’s club – completed a run of four national league
titles in a row. In addition, his club team won the national
championship and the AVC Cup club tournaments twice.
He is scene by many as a high level coach who has mastered
advanced Volleyball theories on techniques and tactics.
On the international scene Bin has led China to the Asian
Junior Women Championship title in 2000 and 2002, fourth
place at the World Junior Women’s Championship in 1999 and a
bronze medal at the 2001 World Junior Women’s Championship.
He has also taken the Chinese Women’s national B team to
victory at the East Asian Games in 2001.
