Egypt won the crucial match against Venezuela in the first day's only tiebreaker 3-2 (25-21, 22-25, 20-25, 25-19, 15-11) In the first set Venezuela started actively with the fast spikes through the spiker Liovi Oramas to lead 8-6, then Egypt started active attacks through Salah Eldein and Mostafa Shaarawy to lead 16-14.
