Slovakia Coach -  Vladimir Pridal

The former setter of Czechoslovakia national team and Slavia Bratislava Club, Vladimir Pridal began his coaching career in 1993 back at his club with the women’s team until 1995.

He immediately had success winning the local championship twice in 1994 and 1995.

Soon after Pridal moved to Austria to coach at club level for two years, before returning to his home land to take charge of the Slovakian national team from 1997-1999.

He returned to Austria as coach of the Aich Dob Club while becoming the coach of the Slovakian junior team, leading them to ninth place at the 2001 World Championship in Poland.

He took the current team to seventh place in the 2002 European Championship to qualify for the Iran finals, where he is expected to further impress with his squad of talented young athletes.
