Yang Liqun has been the setter in the
Chinese men's national team earlier in his
career gaining valuable experience which
he is now passing on to the younger
generation.
His first coaching asignment with the
Chinese Junior Men's side was at the 2002
Asian Junior Men's Championships where
China finished third.
China are currently going through a
rebuilding phase so Liqun is haapy to look
at this tournament as a development
exercise. "Our group is very tough as it
not easy to face Russia, India and Germany,
but we will do our best to play good
Volleyball."
