Tanzania completes coaches course

FIVB Instructor Jivko Jetchev of Bulgaria led the course in Tanzania
Tanga, Tanzania, September 20, 2011 – A FIVB Level II Coaches Course drew to a close in Tanga Tanzania on Tuesday with 22 people taking part.

Bulgaria’s Jivko Jetchev was the instructor and he helped open the event at the Mkonge Hotel. He said he was happy to return to Tanzania again and thanked the Tanzania Volleyball Associaition (TAVA) for the warm welcome he had received since his arrival.

TAVA president Agustino Israel Agapa thanked the CAVB and FIVB for bringing the course to fruition, adding that the knowledge received by them will help the sport grow further in the country.
Of the 22 participants only one has travelled from abroad, on this occasion from Zambia. The local participants are coaches from first division teams and clubs, colleges and universities, primary and secondary schools.
