Fiji first of three countries to meet with the Volleyball Cooperation Programme |

Lausanne, July 3, 2009 – The FIVB instructor Mr. Yaniv Noyam from Israel is currently on a three countries mission for the Volleyball Cooperation Programme, in Fiji, Philippines and Maldives that will benefit from his experience. In Fiji it was noted that there is solid interest in Beach Volleyball, beside this project the Fiji Federation has also been showing active participation in Volleyball where the Fiji women´s team took part in the 1st round of the 2010 FIVB World Championships earlier this year. Mr. Noyman stated that the level of Beach Volleyball was still intermediate in Fiji but the desire and the will to promote is in place. The next stop for the Volleyball Cooperation Programme will be in Philippines where grassroot Beach Volleyball course starts next Monday.

Lausanne, July 3, 2009 - A Volleyball Cooperation Programme was successfully carried out in Tanzania by FIVB Instructor Kristian Kröger, the Tanzania Volleyball Federation, and its president Augustino Israel Agapa.
