Serbia satisfied with four-set victory against Russia

Kortrijk, Belgium, June 5, 2019 - Serbia celebrated a four set victory against Russia in week 3 of the 2019 women's FIVB Volleyball Nations League in Kortrijk on Wednesday.

Bojana Gocanin: "I'm very happy that I can be with this team, so I'm becoming more experienced. It is a very fun team. I enjoy it and I make really a lot of progress. The reason of our successes in the VNL tournament is that we worked and practised hard. We were well prepared for this tournament. We hope to play the Final Six of the VNL."

Russia captain Ekatarina Efimova: "This is a new young team and we need more matches to play better together. There are now some new players in our team, but it is still a mix. Some of them are coming from the National League, other ones came from other places. We need more adaption to play with for example another setter. We have to solve these problems in the next few weeks."
