Women's World Championship draw to be held on Thursday

The 2018 Women's World Championship will be played by 24 countries, including hosts Japan
Lausanne, Switzerland, December 4, 2017 - The draw for the first round of the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship Japan 2018 will be held at the Keio Plaza Hotel in Tokyo, Japan at 13.00 local time/04.00 GMT on Thursday, December 7. It will be streamed live by host broadcaster TBS.

The Drawing of Lots ceremony will determine the make-up of the pools in the first round of next year’s tournament. It will distribute the 24 teams into four pools of six teams.
