World Grand Champions Cup: Brazil roll past Iran in straight sets

Brazil got back on the winning track as they claimed a straight-set win over Iran in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Grand Champions Cup
Osaka, Japan, September 15, 2017 - Brazil opened the matches in Osaka with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-15) win, handing Iran their first loss in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Grand Champions Cup.

Brazil started off the 2017 edition with a 3-0 win over France on Tuesday, but lost to Italy in five sets the next day. Brazil's victory against Iran mean they stay in contention to defend their title. Brazil have a record of 29 wins and four defeats at the World Grand Champions Cup and have never lost more than one match in a single year.

The Men’s World Grand Champions Cup features a total of six teams that play in a round-robin tournament from September 12 to 17. Nagoya and Osaka host the seventh edition of the tournament.
