World Grand Champions Cup: Brazil claim silver with 3-0 win over USA

 
Brazil secured the silver medal finish at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup, following their 3-0 win over USA
Nagoya, Japan, September 10, 2017 – Brazil earned the silver medal after their 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-19) defeat of USA in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup.

Brazil prevailed in the match that would guarantee the silver medal, as they recorded their third win in five matches, matching USA's win-loss record. However, Brazil earned three points to add to their previous total of eight points. Brazil now have a 3-1 winning edge over USA at the World Grand Champions Cup.

The Women's World Grand Champions Cup features six participating teams that play each other in a round-robin tournament from September 5 to 10 at Tokyo and Nagoya.
