World Grand Champions Cup: China defeat Russia in straight sets

 
China defeated Russia to keep their unbeaten run in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup
Nagoya, Japan, September 9, 2017 – China opened the fourth day of action at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-20) win over Russia.

China have won their four matches in the tournament. After playing four-set and five-set matches in Tokyo, they won back-to-back straight-set matches in Nagoya. China are now unbeaten in their last seven matches at the World Grand Champions Cup - a record run for the team in the competition.

The six teams participating in the Women's World Grand Champions will play each other in a round-robin tournament from September 5 to 10. Nagoya will host the remaining matches on Saturday and Sunday.
