World Grand Champions Cup: Japan post 3-2 win over Brazil

 
Japan defeated Brazil in the tie-breaker to claim their second victory in the 2017 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup
Nagoya, Japan, September 8, 2017 – Hosts Japan recorded their second win in the 2017 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup, following a 3-2 (25-18, 25-27, 25-15, 16-25, 15-6) win over Brazil in Nagoya on Friday.

After 16 years, Japan were able to post another victory over Brazil at the World Grand Champions Cup in a repeat of their five-set win over Brazil in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix.

The six teams participating in the Women's World Grand Champions will play each other in a round-robin tournament from September 5 to 10. Tokyo hosted the first two matchdays - Nagoya will host the remaining matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
