World Grand Champions Cup: China prevail with 3-2 win over Brazil

China claimed back-to-back wins in the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup on Wednesday, when they defeated defending champions Brazil in the tie-breaker
Tokyo, Japan, September 6, 2017 – Rio 2016 Olympic gold medallists China defeated defending champions Brazil 3-2 (25-20, 25-12, 20-25, 23-25, 19-17) to stay undefeated in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Grand Champions Cup on Wednesday.

China have levelled the series match-up with Brazil to two wins and two losses. The Asian team also followed-up on their straight-set win over the South Americans at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix.

The six teams participating in the Women's World Grand Champions will play each other in a round-robin tournament from September 5 to 10. The matches on Wednesday will take place in Tokyo, then the matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be played in Nagoya.
