World Grand Champions Cup: Japan beat Asian rivals Korea 3-0

Hosts Japan played their Asian rivals Korea in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday
Tokyo, Japan, September 5, 2017 - Hosts Japan prevailed in the Asian derby with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 26-24) win over rivals Korea on the opening day of the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Grand Champions Cup.

Japan have now extended their win-streak over Korea in the World Grand Champions Cup to five.

The six teams participating in the Women's World Grand Champions will play each other in a round-robin tournament from September 5 to 10. The matches on Tuesday and Wednesday will take place in Tokyo. Nagoya will host the matches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
