Beit Leqya club in Palestine organise successful mini volleyball festival

Ramallah, Palestine, May 19, 2017 – The Palestinian Volleyball Federation supervised a mini volleyball festival for 400 children in the presence of a large number of local residents at the Beit Leqya Club Stadium.

Beit Leqya Club president Salameh Rizeq welcomed the participants and praised the vision and plans of the national federation for focusing on mini volleyball because it is a stem towards development.

Salameh highlighted the systematic steps being taken by the national federation and the club, particularly Professor Jawad Assi, for his efforts of organising a successful activity. He also stressed that the management plans to involve the women and children in more mini volleyball activities.

The participants were divided into 12 courts, which fits the target age groups and organised into a semi-league system so that the children will be given more time to play with the ball.

Rani Asfour expressed his gratitude to the Beit Leqya federation the children, the parents and the organisers for the successful organisation of the mini volleyball festival. He praised the efforts of Assi, Manar Badr and Ghada Mafarjeh and offered that the Palestine Volleyball Federation is willing to extend its support to any club or institution. He said that the aim of these activities is to introduce the children to volleyball through a fun manner.
