Dominican Republic concludes successful coaches course in Santiago
Santiago, Dominican Republic, February 1, 2017 – The FIVB Regional Development Centre in the Dominican Republic concluded a provincial course for volleyball coaches, where fifty trainers from various municipalities of Santiago attended.
The course was led by Level III instructors Wilson Sanchez and Hector Romero, who are both involved in the Dominican Republic women’s national team programme.
At the end of the course, Santiago Volleyball Association president Jose Aybal expressed his satisfaction with the success of the course. He urged the participants to spread the knowledge they have acquired in the development course. He also commended the support of the Regional Development Centre and the national federation for conducting the course.
Professor Nelson Jose Ramirez, regional development centre director, conveyed his satisfaction with the development course when he handed out the certificates to the participants. He encouraged the attendees to continue working on their communities.
