Gabrielle Reece talks about knee replacement surgery

 Lausanne, Switzerland, December 16, 2016 – Former beach volleyball star Gabrielle Reece has talked about her knee replacement surgery on “The Doctors” TV show.

Reece, 46, who has also been a model, actress, writer, sports announcer and fitness expert, explained how she sought to avoid opioid pain relievers and the TV program explained some of the alternative forms of treatment such as acupuncture and electrical stimulation.

Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Scott Sigman said there was an “opioid crisis right now.”

Reece, who stands at 191 cm, said she had been in pain for 14 years before opting for the surgery.
