Cuban coach Ana Ibis Diaz poses with the FIVB flag along with her compatriot Ruben Sainz, who directed the Technical Seminar for Liberos in the city of Tijuana.
Tijuana, Mexico December 6, 2016 - An international Technical Seminar for Liberos was completed successfully at the FIVB Regional Development Center located at the Baja California High Performance Center in Baja California, Mexico on Tuesday.

Speaking during the closing ceremony, Instructor Ruben Sainz said; “We have to prepare in everything. Life evolves. It constantly changes as well as sports and volleyball so we have to keep working, studying and looking for new tools.”

“It has been a pleasure for me to come to this Development Center in Tijuana and I leave with the best impressions of the facilities and the participants. They cooperated a lot to make this seminar a great experience,” the Cuban instructor added.

“We had a lot of positive energy that was shared by these young coaches,” Sainz commented about the course participants, who received FIVB certificates at the end of the seminar.

“This was an excellent  group with a lot of knowledge of the game. This was a great challenge for me as I had to prepare every session, practical and theoretical. We had to give our best, because of the great level the participants showed.”

Several courses will take place at the Development Centre in Tijuana before the end of the year, including a Mini Volleyball Continental Course. A Volleyball Festival for boys and girls will also be organised on December 17.
