Level III coaches’ course concludes in India

 
A total of 15 participants from eight countries – Italy, Eritrea, Sudan, Namibia, Uganda, Mauritius and India – participated in this high-level coaches’ course
Chennai, India, November 5, 2012 – An eight-day FIVB Level III Coaches Course Came to an end on Sunday. The conclusion of the course included a valedictory address and the distribution of certificates Sunday evening.

The course had begun on November 4 with an opening ceremony presided over by C. Senthil Pandian, IAS, the regional passport officer of Chennai. The vice-president of the Indian Olympic Association and CEO of the Swimming Federation of India, V.D.Nanavati, was the guest of honour.

Course director Miloslav Ejem and course instructor Jivko Pavlov Jetchev then started conducting classes. A total of 15 participants from eight countries – Italy, Eritrea, Sudan, Namibia, Uganda, Mauritius and India – participated in the 42 theoretical and 18 practical courses that made up this high-level coaches’ course.

The classes were held at the FIVB Development Centre, J.N. Stadium, in Chennai, while the practical sessions were conducted at SDAT Indoor Stadium.

K.Murugan, secretary general of the volleyball federation of India, welcomed the gathering to the opening ceremony, which was also attended by Arjuna & Dronacharya Awardee G.E. Sridharan, A.K. Chithiraipandian, Mohd. Jinna and A.D. Mohanraj – all members of the VFI.
