Antiga on the comeback as Blain rings changes for France

Head coach Philippe Blain has named three surprises in his team of 12, including the recall of star player Stéphane Antiga for France's next two World League assignments, this weekend away to the Czech Republic followed by a trip to Greece. After retaining the same 12 for the opening two weekends where France, playing at home beat the Czech Republic in both games before splitting the matches against Japan with a win and a loss, Blain has called in 23-year-old Junot Mistoco and the experienced Luc Marquet for this weekend's matches in the Czech Republic. Missing are Laurant Carpet, France's best scorer in the opening two weekends and the youngster Guillaume Samica. And in a blessing to all France fans, Antiga has been named in the squad to face Greece in week four and will play libero in place of Hubert Henno. Antiga was France's hero as they stormed through to clinch the bronze medal at the World Championship last year.
