Serbia and Montenegro have named their side for their opening two World League matches against the Netherlands starting on Saturday in Eindhoven.
Formerly Yugoslavia, the Olympic and European champions are hot favourites in Pool C and open their account with matches on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
However, injuries have plagued their build up and coach Veselin Vukovic has rested his biggest star Ivan "The Terrible" Miljkovic this weekend while Dula Mester pulled out with a knee injury suffered at training on Tuesday night.
But Vukovic is confident his side can overcome the problems and get their World League campaign off to a good start and aim for at least a repeat of last year's third place result,. "We respect the Netherlands, especially Nummerdor, Gortzen, Schuil and Mike van de Goor." Vukovic said. "We want to make a good start and from the beginning of the World League demonstrate that we have a team for the final eight in Madrid.
