Brazil and Argentina play for the South-American women's junior title

Friday 29th October at the Julio Borelli gymnasyum, in La Paz, Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina will fight for the title of the XVII South-American Women's Junior Tournament. Current champions, the Brazilians fight for their 13th triumph in the category.

On Thursday, Brazil defeated Venezuela 3-0 ( 25/18, 25/15 and 25/21 ). For Rizola, Brazilian coach, the match against Venezuela saw the best performance from his players so far in the competition. "It was a great game, where we did specially well in blocking and defense", said the coach

In the other match, Argentina beat Bolivia 3-0 (25/16, 25/12 and 25/10) and are confident about conquering an unprecedented title tonight. The round starts with hosts Bolivia playing against Peru. Venezuela, who won two of their games, has completed its participation in the Tournament.
