October 25, 2004 - The city of La Paz, Bolivia, hosts the XVII South-American Women's Junior Tournament, from the 25 to the 29th October. National teams from Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru and Venezuela will be fighting for the title as well as for a spot at the World Championships, which will take place in Turkey in July 2005.
The Brazilian team will try to defend its hegemony, fighting for the 13th title in the category. The Games will be played in a round robin system. The winner will be the team with the greatest number of points
In the opening match, Venezuela will face Peru. Later, Bolivia, the host, meet Brazil. The Argentines will debut in the second round.
