10th All Arab Games - Egypt and Tunisia favourites for gold
Egypt's Mohamed Abdelrahman sets

Bleida, Algeria, September 27, 2004 - Six big Arab teams including three Africans will compete for the medals at the All Arab Games in Algeria with two big African forces Tunisia and Egypt, who have been drawn in seperate groups, shaping up as frontrunners for gold once the tournament starts on Monday.

In Pool A Egypt, Algeria and Iraq will compete for two semifinal places, while Tunisia, Qatar and Saudi Arabia will battle in Pool B for the other two.

Algeria and Iraq, and Saudi Arabia and Qatar will start proceedings with Pool A and Pool B matches respectively before Egypt play Iraq and Tunisia meet Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. On the final day of the first round on Wednesday, Egypt will face Algeria in Pool A while Tunisia take on Qatar in Pool B.
