EGYPT MEN COACH INJECTED NEW BLOOD FOR ALL ARAB GAMES

August 3rd, 2004 - The Serbian coach of Egypt volleyball men team, Vacline Vukovic made a revolution in the team line up participating in the International tour held now in United Arab Emirates. He took a sharp decision to inject new blood in the team by adding new young players like Ahmed Salah, Abdala Abdelsalam and Mahmoud El-Komy who were in the Egyptian U-19 team gaining the fourth place in 2001 U-19 World Championship. He also added two players for the first time Nabil Abdel Hay and Mohamed Roshdy. He also took a sharp decision to exclude many experienced players like Mahmoud Abdel-Aziz, Mohamed Moselhy, Nedad Shehata, Ashraf Abo-Elhassan and Ayman Roshdy to decrease the age average after the low performance of these players in the last years international competitions.

The coach renewed the team in his way to make a new line up hoping to win the gold medal in All Arab Games in Algeria, October 2004.

Egypt play in pool A in the 8 Nations’ Emirates tour with China, Pakistan and Emirates A team , While pool B include India, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Emirates B team.
