Morocco, the host country of this week's qualifying tournament, ensured a place in the U-19 World Championship after a decisive final 3-0 match victory against Tunisia to win the right to join Egypt, the African Nations' Champion, at the Worlds in Thailand in July.
The result went down to the wire, with Algeria leveling on points with Morocco after defeating Sudan 3-1 in their final match, forcing a decision on set ratio that finally went Morocco's way.
African teams who participates all displayed very high standards of play, reflecting that players in this important age category can hold their own in international competition.
Sudan, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria competed in the qualifier, held April 11-13.
