Monday, February 16, 2004 - The South American Volleyball Confederation (CSV) has confirmed their acceptance of "the provisional affiliation of the Federation of Argentinean Volleyball (FE.V.A.) until its final recognition is approved in the FIVB World Congress."
The congress of the CSV, during their meeting in Sacuarema, Brazil on Friday and Saturday, decided to adopt the decision of the FIVB Executive Committee and the Board of Administration taken in Acapulco, Mexico at the end of January, accepting the provisional affiliation of the FE.V.A. until its final recognition be submitted to the FIVB World Congress in May in Portugal.
This recognition leaves the Federation of Argentinean Volleyball as the only Argentinean entity representative of the sport at South American and world level.
Among others decisions the CSV decided that the American Cup of men, of which Argentina will be a part of, will be carried out in September in Brazil.
